Hi all, I recently interviewed with a top unicorn and am likely to receive an offer. I am also expecting an offer from Quora. I came here today to ask whether I should join the unicorn or Quora. Obviously, in terms of prestige the top unicorn is better, but I'm from Europe and Quora would pay US salaries and it's extremely unlikely that the unicorn offer will come even close to Quora's. I'm not too sure what I should go for, either take Quora's offer for the short-term gain or play the long game with the unicorn and hope for promotions and better opportunities in the future? I'm applying for new grad #engineering #software #software #swe
Do people still use Quora?
People do use quora and it helps Google to get more ad. Quora monetization is going to be an issue for Quora.
Quora is dead
Get offers then ask
I don’t think Quora even pays US salaries to their US employees? If you want to make money in Europe it’s FAANG, HF or in a select few banking roles
