Tourist Visa along with IPA
I got in approval for work visa from a company. I am yet to join and get work visa. I need to visit Singapore for an interview. Can i get visitor visa. I have IPA that is one time visa but i need it later to join company. I have interview next week. Any help what to do? Also how much time it take to get Singapore visitor visa as soon as possible.
It is illegal to come on tourist visa and attend interview in Singapore (I think anywhere) . If you are asking whether they’ll catch you or not, then the answer is no. But they can track you back at any pint of time. Ask company to have skype interview. It is not worth to take risk.
I don’t know if this is right. Skype interviews may not be acceptable to most companies
I was asked to go to there local office in my home country to attend interview. Skype is another option. I think question is if company knows he is outside Singapore they won’t ask him to come for onsite interview at Singapore. I’ve a feeling he told them that he is in Singapore already and trying to continue that. He need to give full info to get reasonable answer.

I guess he is asking whether it is allowed to make business/tourist visa if someone already hold IPA.
