Greetings dear community. In a year I'll have a computer science degree in my pocket which I'm getting with the help of Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile in the USA as u might know) where I also work as a software engineer. Since a long time I have thoughts about moving to the USA bc of the way Germany handles its politics, the situation with today's market in Tech Industry in Germany and the lack of possibilities to grow. - I would love to hear about any experience you have in transferring from tech companies from EU to US in general (also not in T-Mobile) - Things you would take care of before transferring (any tips and thoughts you have on that topic) - Do you maybe suggest getting a different employer instead of staying at the same company? (I've seen not the kindest reviews about T-Mobile lately...) Thanks for your answers :) #tech
Just apply to US companies in Germany then transfer. Fwiw I’m happy in Germany at Yelp, making 120k

Rejected my TikTok offer. Something I’m gonna regret?
Depends on the team you’ll be working in. I’m sure you’ve heard of the recent massive layoffs where teams were completely gutted. I’d be very careful since you’ll be moving from out of the country and ask Blind for specific teams and their type of work.
