I'm a full-stack engineer with a strong background in physics and mathematics, currently working with .NET/C# for backend and React/TypeScript for frontend. I'm considering specializing in a new area, and I've narrowed my options down to Blockchain Engineer, Security Software Engineer, and AI/ML Engineer. I am looking for a field that is in high demand, has a potential salary of 400k+ per year, and has a lower likelihood of being completely automated in the future. Considering these factors, which field do you think would be the best to transition into?
AI ML if you’re good at Math.
Avoid Blockchain at all costs. ML is good but there's also a ton of hype now, we might get some deflation of the hype in a year or two. Don't go into ML unless you are actually interested in that
Why do you say avoid Blockchain at all cost?
yea why when someone says Blockchain ppl think crypto or NFT only, the ledger is actually super useful to lots of diff industries for security think it has a great future
