How did you prepare for the Triplebyte interview? What's the format? Don't think it's leetcode.
Several engineers with faang offers dont pass the triplebyte interview (specially junior and some midlevel fang engineers). So i dont feel so bad about failing, I feel bad about failing soo badly lol.
I did the iOS one and made it to 60-80th percentile. I’m a CS grad with 3YoE. Mobile one was pretty straightforward so that’s all I can say. There’s no LC style questions, maybe some basic sorting/filtering on arrays but that’s it.
Hmm . . . path of least resistance might be ios
And im assuming that was enough to pass the interview for fasttrack triplebyte?
I did the practice interview and they said I did well enough to pass, didn’t think it was too hard TBH
Yup, it wasnt hard, the harsh feedback surprised me, weeks later
I got some decent feedback, but I think the feedback was fair
I got between 60th - 80th percentile on front end part. And I still fail lol. Their feedback is helpful though. I build a react app. My tip is know organized your data since the beginning. I use context to make it easier for me.

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
People that do well on it are usually senior engineers, you have to know all the topics on the quiz. I have 4 yoe and performed in the lower 20% of the practice interview (got destroyed . . . after thinking that i had done a decent job). To pass the final interview you have to be in the top 30% so im hoping i can flip things around after some preparation. But it'll probably take me another 4 yoe to do well on it lol (I can realistically get to the top 50% in a couple months after addresseling areas of weakness' since i did so poorly but to actually get to be at the top 30%, hmm who knows). They hammer you in the results but they do give you great and detailed feedback. Ive never had such useful feedback. So I really appreciated the experience and valued their service.
What topics does it cover?
Architecture, programming productivity, web backend, low level systems, algorithms
