TuSimple is under investigation by the FBI and SEC for transferring technology to a separate, wholly-Chinese company that the CEO co-founded. The board fired him, so he partnered with another large shareholder to kick out the old board. The new board immediately reinstated him as CEO. All that drama in a (more-or-less) pre-revenue company has led to massive amount of uncertainty for employees and investors.

That’s why I didn’t invest in Nikola. Looked like a cheap imitation of Tesla. Like there used to be some Chinese phone they named orange. Companies copy ideas all the time, but copying name was dumb.
