I gave Hackerrank assessment for Twilio Senior Software Engineer. I passed all test cases, wrote clean code. It's been more than 10 days, I followed up twice but no response. Felt like a complete waste of time? Is it normal at Twilio?
They once got back to me after 1 month. A while ago though.
So do they interviewed you?
Yeah same with that decision too. Didn't get it but took a long time for decision. Maybe for positive onsite they get back faster idk

I had a recent terrible experience appearing for a SEM role .Recruiter just ghosted . It was straight and easy questions and i felt like having nailed it .But no response from recruiter .I guess it was just a waste of time or may be knowledge sharing session
Yeah twilio is real good at wasting people’s time. Speaking from experience

Strange. I interviewed with Twilio-Segment and had a pretty good experience throughout. Recruiter was constantly in touch with me! I know this doesn’t help you, and I am sorry to hear about your experience. But just wanted to provide a data point.
I completed the hackerrank challenge and they got back to me in a day.

Yes within a week. Below are the rounds 1. Hiring manager - brief introduction 2. One LC medium problem (related to topological sorting) 3. Design round 4. Hiring manager round 5. Tech fit round 6. Bar raiser round
^^ is 2 to 6 part of onsite? Also what's the difference better rounds 4 and 5?
What to expect in take home assessment for senior/staff swe role?
Could be your test results has been flagged for plagiarism by hacker rank. At Twilio, plagiarism above 90-95% leads to rejection most of the time.
I would say plagiarism above 60% is straight rejection. In my team , we saw multiple solution from the same GitHub repository 😊, same mistake by multiple candidates therefore at times we repeat problem publicly available just to assess on behaviour at times and decide the direction of interview.
I am in the similar situation, gave the assessment a week ago but no response. Can you tell where to follow up?
