I started 7 months ago 😅. What team are you joining ? A lot of horror stories about amazon on blind but it’s all US horror. So far in EU I haven’t seen or heard about any of the stuff that happens in the US

I honestly can't believe how low salaries are in Europe. My salary and TC are almost double for the same YOE in Seattle(which is cheaper than London). What is up with the pay over there?
Unrelated, mate. But, to answer your question, the number of job openings in the UK are far less than US, since US is the headquarter for most companies. So, the market salaries are in this range only. And no other company would want to pay much more than market standard.

Twitch benefits and culture have been great. They have a much better benefit package than Amazon proper. You get more holidays, no-meetings days, care packages and other perks. If you're in the office it's even better (I've heard)
