hey devnul1, if you are in twitter India , can you help me answer the original questions I asked ? 😀
We currently have only Data Platform teams in Bangalore, planning to expand and are still actively hiring for critical roles. Culture is great IMO. You will have a lot of flexibility in terms of work and will get to work on projects that have greater impact. Compensation is good and I don't see a challenge in trying to match your expectations. Again it also depends on your interview performance. Benefits/Perks ie Food/Transportation might not be as good as US since we have a small presence in India as of now. Follow this link to read more about US Benefits in detail https://us.teamblind.com/s/88KMz7f4. But any benefit you don't receive is directly is compensated for in addition to your salary. Would be happy to refer :) Feel free to DM for more details!
Can you please explain me what does a good interview performance mean from Twitter perspective?. What are skills sets you are looking for?
Just like every other major tech company, there are certain rubrics that changes based on the profile/role that would convert to a score that falls into a score range. Each score range will have categories like hire/no hire/strong hire etc.. Again, the skill sets tested in the interview depends on the role/team you are applying for. If you are interviewing for data platforms, your interview questions will revolve around your experience in developing/ designing large scale data systems like Kafka, Hadoop, MR etc.. of course in addition to ds/algo :)
