Two Sigma Interview Advice
Was able to get the hackerrank test for two sigma. Two medium leetcode questions which I’ve seen before thus I was able to solve it in 30 minutes (you get 3 hours). Was curious if any of y’all have any recommendations on how to best tackle Two Sigma interviews? Note that the position is for SWE. 2 yoe TC 165K #twosigma #twosigmacareers #swe
when i went interview was pretty standard, heavy on lc. i got all lc hards although it was for a senior position
Better learn the best day to buy and sell stock 1x, 2x, Kx, upside down, flip it, and reverse it.
Next phone screen would be LC hard.

Got a leetcode hard. Gave an ideal time complexity solution that the interviewer said he hadnt seen before and was very creative. Got rejected lmao

Ya I asked for feedback and got nothing. I think it's because I didn't give a good answer to the concurrency question. Wish I knew why still.
The recruiter reached out to me, and I finished that hackerrank within 30 minutes too, and they never got back to me again. Those two problems were from leetcode and I passed all given tests. I asked the recruiter and they rejected me with a template email. That was a very bad experience and a waste of time.
I was asked standard leetcode (pretty easy ones actually) plus one guy wanted me to do some linear algebra derivations. I hadn’t touched linalg in years and didn’t remember shit about doing matrix math, so I bombed that one, which I assume is what sank me.

Onsite was 3 rounds: 1 LC hard, 1 LC hard, 2 LC medium + 1 LC Easy, if you don't get all test cases for 1 problem you automatically get rejected
