Two sigma team matching

Hi all, just wanted some advice/opinion. I’m in the team matching phase right now and recently matched with three teams. I received an update recently that the team I chose ended up filling all their head counts and the other teams that I matched with has also met their quota. My choice right now is to either wait for special approval or reinterview again with other teams…which could restart my process. Does this happen very often? Is there a hiring freeze I don’t know about? Would appreciate any thoughts on this, thanks!
