UCC: why no Congress support?
It's one of the guiding principles and written in our constitution Why isn't a party like Congress that claims to be just and secular being so anti secular and dividing the nation on basis of religion? Different laws based on religion don't make sense at all!? Even some progressive Muslims want UCC so that child marriage, HALALA, and multiple marriages can be banned. Did Congress shoot itself in the foot for choosing radical Muslim appeasement over progressive secular policy?

As if Muslim (even Muslim women) actually want something else. They are not children, they can change their rules.if they want and they are protected under same criminal law anyway Although I do think you should be able to opt out of religious civil code. I.e. be a Muslim but not be under that civil code
