US Citizens wanting to move to India for tech jobs ? Is the industry really that bad?
I saw a reddit post about a recent college grad that was having a hard time trying to get a offer in the US he was really considering getting "sponsor" to move to India was this a troll? Does India have h1b visa for US Citizens?

The market in India is significantly better than US at this point and I wouldn’t be surprised if someone decides to do this. The income to expense ratio is significantly higher in India and allows for a US like quality of life and better in some aspects (worse in some others like traffic and pollution) It’s uncommon, but not stupid. I know a few Americans who had moved to microsoft hyderabad and microsoft research bangalore for a few years, most of them loved their stay.
The US is a large country and new grad market is garbage. I’m sure you’ll have one even considering Africa, if you look hard enough for that one
Goto India to apply for jobs that 500k new grads apply for each year? Literally half of their population that graduates does so with an engineering degree. Job:applicant ratio is brutal
