What's the current state on work visas for internships for EU students/citizens? Do the big companies consider international applicants? Do they do visa sponsorship?
Why will US companies get Interns from other countries. Best bet is to get a F1 visa and apply via CPT.
Before covid there have been many interns from outside the US. F1 visa is for students studying at a US university, isn't it?
The best students at an IIT, Chinese C9, etc… are much more promising than an average student from Rice or Emory. When the top talent intern pool depletes they need to get them from somewhere else
What about HFTs and top startups also? Already doing internships at FAANG so I need something more challenging, unfortunately no company in my country is better :(
