Can any USAA employees speak on the current state of the company’s remote work policy? I noticed a few remote job postings online. I wanted to see if there might be a chance that USAA would require relocation for these remote roles in the future. Or are these truly 100%, fully remote roles? #usaa #sanantonio #texas #veterans
I’ve been full remote for almost 10 years there are also many VPs and up that are full time remote. Being with the company for almost 20 years I have a large network…those that are hired remote with no Network seem to only last a few years or less before they are let go or quit

It depends on what your role is. I'm a SWE, and we're all classified as "hybrid" with the expectation to come to the office occasionally. In practice, not many teams have individuals working in this model. Most individuals are WFH right now. I will write that there are rumblings in other departments where Senior Management is expecting employees to fully RTO later this year, even though they were hired on as "100% remote".
Thank you! That’s helpful. Is it okay if I dm you with a follow up question?”
Yes
