Is Western Digital prestigious?
A friend of mine is looking down on me because I work at ~50 employes start up, he works for Western Digital. Is WD prestigious?
No but it depends on the startup tbh.

Is that person really a friend? Or an acquaintance who should be kept away? I recently had to fiercely argue with my parents because they said inviting our maid for a movie night was weird. She does a good job, does it well, and takes pride in it. And we like her and her work. That's enough prestige to keep the world going.
She’s a friend who got upset about my post of her not knowing what malpractice is on TurboTax raising prices mid season. Then she start trashing me working for WD so I told her NEW is not prestigious either, hence she wants the blinders to decide. She’s nice otherwise, please go easy on her.
