Uber CTO impressions?
Your thoughts on Thuan in 2018? Pros/cons and if you like the direction UberEng is moving towards under his leadership? Considering an offer still waiting on final numbers, curious to hear if it is a good move. Saw some previous posts that listed some concerns about exVMWare folks etc, not sure if that still holds true? Current tc 265

He is junk - basically political - Though he keeps crying how he hated politics at VMware :)

He has his strengths and weaknesses. However how he is shouldn’t have bearing on whether you join. Uber eng is a great place to be.
