According to this CNBC article, seems like Uber is aiming for a conservative 90-100 billion valuation. How does that translate into stock price? https://finance.yahoo.com/video/uber-expected-sell-10-billion-113806787.html
About $55.
thought itd be higher than that. the preferred stock price uber recruiter quoted in 2016 for an offer was close to 50$ so thats a mere 10% bump despite nearly a 100% company valuation increase. how is this kind of dilution even legal....
I too would like know how that kind of dilution is legal.
About tree fiddy.
The new offers were made with 120b valuation right?
No. They were made with $76b valuation or lesser. $120b was the number suggested by a few analysts on Wall Street.
It’s like the dot com bust, but this time it’s “because they have an app”! 😆
Dude. You work at Oath. Chill out
Exactly, you work at Oath, no one takes your opinion in “tech” lounge.
I am so exicted
What's your move here?
Make a lot of money or watch an industry collapse. Either way it's fun.

I think Lyft ipo-ed at a much higher price than their 409a, hence the bloodbath now. Uber’s will be closer to 409a I feel..
I think it will do just fine. Market overreaction towards Uber S-1
That’s a shame from 120b to 90-100b. Where is Pedram Keyani (Uber Director), who used to tout new joiners that an easy 3-4x valuation jump will happen into IPO.. indicating 200-300b is realistically achievable Market Cap for Uber soon after IPO. Nothing but a piece of liar $hit, apparently he is.
Surprised a director would say that. That’s the quickest way for ruining ones reputation and to joiners? What’s the point they are already there...
That’s my point too. I know a few from google and Facebook (my ex workplace, where Pedram was a Director once), who experienced this at offer negotiation stage. I also got connected to him over Linkedin, and from my single chat with him I felt the same when brought up pre-comp discussion (although not exactly he used a definitive multiplier range). Anyway I didn’t interview there eventually.
Conservative?? For basically a cab company? Yeah, good luck with that. 🍆
Just a cab company? Hahaha, you gotta start educating yourself more bro.
Sure. With an app. 🍆
