I have Uber onsite coming up for a front end position. What can I expect? Any feedback would be appreciated :) edit : its for a web front end position
Got one coming up too, following.
You’ll get a few mobile coding questions for your focus (iOS / Android), a practical code challenge, maybe a leetcode Q, and some systems of project overviews if you’re at L5+. Also likely to have a round with a hiring manager with general experience topics.
It’s for a web front end position
(apparently there are many javascript engineers!) The interview loop is likely similar with different code/framework Qs.
working there as a front eng for a few years now. there is definitely more engs then “low double digits” it has been fun. we are using fusionjs, it is open-sourced, check it out. web platform team is working hard to provide tooling, there is definitely progress being made. it wont be too different when compared to other interview panels. brush up your js, web/http etc skills. if senior, spend some time on web architecture. good luck!
Thank you, it’s for an entry level position. What do you mean by “ there is definitely more engs then “low double digits””?
someone above me said there aren’t many frontend engineers at uber. that’s not very accurate. though we definitely have lot more mobile engs
How did your interview go? I have onsite interview for front-end L5a
