Just wondering, when there is a coupon/promotion who ends up giving the discount? Under or the food company? For example, I see a coupon in uber eats where I spend $30 bucks I get $10 off. Does uber pay the restaurant full price? If it's the restaurant giving $10 off, I really dont want to take advantage of this coupon in current covid19 circumstances. Anyone know? #uber #doordash #caviar #grubhub
just use Doordash it’s cheaper
Didn't answer my question and doordash doesn't have any promo
Doordash about to run out of money
It’s mostly Uber marketing budget.
the restaurant pays for it.
Ah, will order from restaurant then. Thanks!!
I work on the Uber Eats team. The answer is it depends. Sometimes it’s generated by the company marketing team, other times by merchants. If it applies for a specific store its likely generated by the merchant.
Just eat. Any purchase is better than no purchase
Sure I can eat, but I'd feel more peaceful if I knew better. If it's the restaurant giving $10 off I'll order directly from the restaurant and pay the extra than go through these sites.
