How do Uber employees feel about getting $3.5 Billion from one one of the most repressive regimes in the world, a regime whose wealth in the past allowed it to sow the seeds of fundamentalism worldwide?
Money is money. And Uber has hardly had a moral compass up to this point and I doubt they will have one going forward.
Truth.
Money is not just money when it is in such large amounts. It comes with influence.
Uber drivers will now have to indoctrinate all passengers
No more women drivers, sorry
This whole thread feels like am opportunity to just pile on Uber. The Uber-bashing is getting as tiring as the Uber-Bros

So, if Saudi Arabia is funding Uber, then their plan must be to kill it off or substantially slow its growth, right? Or is it a hedge against the upcoming and inevitable oil demand decline cliff?
Folks, stop acting like you have any idea what it is like to live under oppression and that you are in any position to judge any companies. You're all misinformed sheep desperate to follow the stereotypical anger instead of seeking the truth.
Damn. Better to take their money and use it for good than to have them take our money and use it for funding more insanity.
That is not how investments work !!
