Uber l5a equity expection
Got final uber l5a offer today, 207k base, 65k signon, 35k target bonus, 740k stock, frontloaded, recruiter said they cannot give more equity since their stock price is low, is that true? Is there anyone got 900k stock recently? They also said the offer is only valid for only 48 hours, is that some kind of negotiation strategy? Tax: 4 yoe, current at G, 260k. Thanks!
Yes I can validate that. It is true. Did u get target bonus in addition to it. If u have competing offers it can change

Yes so on top of that u got 65k sign on. That is nice. With 4YOE ur 1st year TC will be close to 580k :) but yeah my recruiter also told me the same thing urs did. Hopefully stocks will go up and ur TC also

Same offer but 850k stock. This was in feb. I believe what they said was true
I asked for 850k but was told that stocks are down so hopefully it will go up and it can go beyond 850k

740 is already too much for this stock price. Join in July if you think stock can go down more to get more shares

Thanks! I just tell them that I want to intetview for l5a, and recruiter is ok with that, didnt have to convince him. Actually last year they asked to me to try l5a as well
