I’m new in bay area, you guys should have more experience, when companies like Uber do massive layoffs do they used to do the repeat in the near future? By the end of 2019 and the begining of 2020 several companies had layoff should we expect new layoffs from the same companies? Based on previous years what do you think? I’m asking this because I have an offer from Uber and maybe doesn’t mean we should expect new layoffs this year.
There is a always risk of layoff everywhere and even in stable companies like google and Microsoft people are laid off ( they just don’t make the news that much) This is the first time Uber has laid off people in its 10 years of existence. If you like the role and the money go for it.
Thanks Superbowel. I really like the role and money.
