How are uber offers these days? If you got a recent offer from uber, can you share the level, first year tc, when you got the offer, whether negotiations helped or not to help out.#engineering #software #swe I am not sure if we can really trust the levels.fyi given the recent market conditions. Lol i like how some people lowball themselves because of recent market conditions. Idk about Uber but people are getting higher offers now than 2022 most likely due to raging inflation. Blind is kinda dead so not a lot of new offers are being shared
Uber has paused or slowed down hiring.
I am interviewing for a position with Uber right now. Recruiter shared that they are interviewing for very small number of positions, otherwise it's frozen

Lot of misinformation in this comment from salsep. 1. Equity refresher of 100k is not guaranteed and it depends on your rating 2. Espp is up-to 15% of base with a cap of 25k per year 3. ESPP discount is 15% and not 20% 4. Base can go up by few thousand depends on negotiation

My friend got an offer recently and it was a hard lowball citing the market conditions. They are Staff. What level are you targeting? If you’re Principal at Amazon then I’d guess Senior Staff (L6) at Uber?
Uber is mostly NOT hiring in US anymore, even backfills are very unlikely. Interns take note if you have multiple offers.
Offers at Uber are low balls now for the small amount of us jobs left. We're mostly moving jobs overseas

Thats my gut feeling as well. Recent offers should help.
That is the thing. We are not seeing any offer bragging on blind nowadays 😄
