Uber recruiter layoffs ?
Had an on-site for the EM2 role 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back from the recruiter. I emailed her and she doesn’t seem to respond at all. She didn’t even come to the walk out interview after the on-site for what it’s worth. I don’t have anyone else to contact and seems like I have been ghosted after 7 rounds of interviews 😭 What’s up with recruiters at Uber? I heard some have been laid off ? Any insights on why recruiting for Uber in the US is sooo slow ? This was for their infra/platform org. TC- 300 K YOE - 8
The recruiter who hired me couple months back was just laid off
Uber has been laying off recruiters since Q3 of last year. And they will start laying off folks away from Talent Acquisition soon. Just a matter of time.
