Is Uber undervalued or overvalued and why?
Feels overvalued right now but also feel it's becoming too big to fail. Reminds me of facebook IPO. I know that they are two totally different businesses but sentiments were similar when they went public. Ad revenue in their case was underestimated.
Current valuation seems about right. It prices in the risk of competition and also the strength of the core business. I’d buy at $15 and sell at $60
Overrrr
Waaay under
Over. we are hitting a recession and investors are turning a very critical eye to mature "startups" that can't actually turn a profit. They've been around for 10 years now and they really suck at localising their business, plenty of competition.
Undervalued. Just bought more myself
seeing as they are not cash positive and local communities are turning against them due to the the fact they treat drivers terribly (a recent news story said that Uber "employees" actually had different bathrooms then the drivers), i would venture out to say it is overvalued.
