It’s fine to be hyped but why drag lyft into this. Arrogance is disgusting
Sorry if you feel that way. Lyft is a good competitor. That’s not my intention or interest
Let's be humble and get back to work!
Same sht. Different color.
Yes, Just like G+ and FB
I thought g+ has been discontinued... I guess FB ain't too far behind. Good thing G has other useful feature, not provided by NSA
I wouldn’t count Lyft out. They are lean and have a good strategy: copy Uber’s successful products, and have nicer branding and vibes. If Uber is 120b they’ve gotta be worth 20b
Good competition is always good . So much to learn and improve product offering. Sometimes Lyft add a feature first and we adopted later that’s good.
According to a Bloomberg article, Lyft is targeting 25b.
How much more lyft spends per trip than Uber?
if you work at Uber you should know, it was mentioned in one of the all hands
Answer: Lyft burns a lot more per trip. #EfficiencyOverSubsidy
What exactly is the market Uber will penetrate into in near future? How big is the market? In other words, convince why one should believe uber is worth 120B On a side note, congrats on a nice IPO :)
Uber is currently < 1% of rides. Market opportunity there is huge. Society is still scratching the surface of food delivery. OP also missed highlighting Uber Freight, which is a trillion dollar industry which Uber is also growing rapidly in.
Less than 1 percent of rides ? Uber was doing 6m rides per day in 2016. You think 600 million rides per day is Uber's potential market?
Chill bruh. Don’t let these news inflate your ego.
I’m bullish on Uber (joining y’all soon) but that Seeking Alpha series was pretty compelling. how much money is Uber losing per ride?
Uber doesn’t loose money in every market. It’s hard to give specific number. All the business losses are not part of rides business. This is one thing ppl forget but that’s metric ppl look at also.
it’s not that hard. divide losses over rides.
Op, we should take a lot humbler attitude and less koolaid. We do have promising areas, but we need to improve in many areas and many of our bets are still speculative. Just think of how Snap was all about the koolaid “we’re not an app, we are a camera company”. Yeah, right. Let’s not make the same mistake.
Spot on! Be humble and do the right thing, every day!
