Hi, I am looking to transition into a Machine learning engineer career and have taken the data scientist nanodegree and currently enrolled in the Deep learning nanodegree. Prior to this, I did my Masters in CS. What do hiring managers think of Nanodegrees when evaluating candidates?
They don't care and it doesnt matter. You'll have one interview with an area expert and you've to nail it.
What do you suggest would be a good path to transition?
They wont evaluate on nano sciene degrees. Do more ML projects and list fancy stuff on resume. They wanna what you can solve and how much valuable are you for the company
