Recently learned I’m underpaid as a B6 Strategy Consultant at IBM. I started working in June this year and accepted my offer back in 2021. At the time when I accepted my offer, my pay seemed to be within range: 104k. Recently learned that average comp for my role is now close to 140k (inflation I’m guessing). I know it’s still soon since I just started work, but any suggestions on what to do to level out my comp? Worried I’ll always be underpaid, even after a promotion :/. #ibm #salary #negotiate #compensation
Resign and get a new job with that comp
Start looking for a new job. It’s 2022. It’s okay to have short tenures. Just don’t make it a pattern.
Leave ibm They can’t and won’t pay well because they’re just a relic at this point
