Change jobs frequently to get raises. Always have a slightly monetizable side project so you can remove companies with <1 year employment and fill it in with โI was trying to fulltime the ${side_project}โ which shows entrepreneurial ambition, and gives you points in many companyโs grading criteria.
LOL. Do u know anyone who has done this?
1) Work two full time remote jobs. 2) Set expectations low and over-deliver. Ex: If you know something is going to take you 10 hours to complete, give an estimate of two weeks. Complete it in 10 hours, take the rest of the week off and deliver after 1 week. You'll look like a hero to LT who don't know any better.
Point 2 is VITAL. If you promise 10 hours and you deliver in 12, people will remember you let them down and will punish you for it. I learned this the hard way and will never forget it
Hire leetcode god when doing virtual interviews. They can control your screen and talk to you during the interview. You TC will bump 200%
And before you ask, yes I have seen this happen and it is full-proof. Even if you share your screen it will work. You have I earpod connected to your computer and the other would be connected to your phone etc to talk to the LC god
Change companies every 1.5 years when starting out. It'll get you 40% pay raises each time
Thatโs not really unethical
What's unethical about that?
