I know that satya mentioned the reward pool increasing by multiples but I did not expect that it would turn out like this! Last year as an L60 I got around 30k in total rewards, and this year I got 120k SSA’s, in addition to 40k bonus, and an additional 30k refreshers. Totally unexpected. Old TC: 200k New TC: 370k (no promotion) 2 YOE

Congratulations! I think your comp in reality is low because even when you are dreaming you are not being ambitious. Why not 1m new TC?
Your TC didn’t increase to 370k. TC is annual income, so your additional awards add 40k + 120k/4 + 30k/5 = 76k on top of whatever your base and remaining RSU vesting per year is.
This +1. However, 270k for a 2 YOE SDE1 (since his previous TC was 200k) is still a very solid offer.

Pics or it didn’t happen. The cash bonus range for an L60 and 61 is 0-20% of base. 40k cash bonus means a minimum of 200 base, which is not a thing at 60 or 61
+1 Also, I think nobody ever gets 20% below L62 (I guess). From what I've heard, highest rewards bucket closes at 18%

This post is the exact proof of what I read sometime back in a MSFT group/forum. i.e. right by the time of MSFT rewards cycle, people will do troll posts on Blind with inflated bonuses, SSA, stock refreshers, etc. 40k bonus at junior level 👏🏼 at least keep it little believable 😂
