I interviewed (phone) for a university grad position Ops PM around late December. Personally I had a positive feeling and the interviewer seemed interested too. A week or so later (early Jan) I was rejected saying the position has been filled already. Does it really mean it has already been filled (in which case it's my bad luck) or is it Facebook's modest way of saying 'no'? Is Facebook typically known for saying 'filled' instead of 'rejected'? TC: 0 😬 Thanks!

The position actually got filled. They reject hundreds of candidates every day, so they won’t be shy in letting you know that you were rejected. It means you can be considered immediately for other openings without any cool down period.
Thanks! I wish I had better luck then!
