I was a consulant at a FAANG for over a year and there was a policy that consultant can also accrue PTO for upto 15 days in a year. Either you can use the PTO or get paid for that. This project is for a FAANG client through a vendor and my employer. For the completion of one year (standard calendar), i got paid for the PTO. It’s been over 3-4 months since I left the project and I’m waiting for my unused PTO payment. I did multiple follow ups for the payment with my employer but they said they are waiting from vendor to process. I asked to my employer if they can do follow up with the vendor but in the background it was not clear if they actually did follow up or not. I initiated a communication between vendor and my employer, so, after back and forth the vendor said they loop a communication between vendor finops and my employer regarding PTO payment. It’s been over 15 days, still no payment is processed by the vendor (that’s what my employer said). It’s a couple of grands and I do not want to loose that, so, I need some help to know how to put pressure on the vendor keeping my employer in the loop.
