Should C-suite take paycut to save company? Peloton layoff 400 and ceo pocketed $168M TC.
Hi! I have been working at Lam for over 2yrs now and I am up for a mid-cycle promotion. From my own research on compensation (indeed+Glassdoor+Blind) for PE4 150k seems to be the average base. Which comes out to be about a 20% hike on my current base. Would they go that high? Also what other bonuses might be offered, if any? This is my first promotion and I'm not sure what to expect. Any advice/inputs to negotiate a better offer are appreciated. Current Level: PE3 Location: Fremont, CA Base: 125k RSU 10k/yr (3yrs) Bonus: 10% YOE: PhD +2yrs Thanks #hardware #semiconductor #lamresearch #appliedmaterials
They should give you at least that. If they don’t, then time to interview
I got a 7% raise when I had my PE3 to 4 promotion (base <140k after the raise). Start communicating expectations before November. In general, find opportunities externally if you want >10% pay increase
Lol. If you are not a software engineer in CA, you’re poor
Can I ask what’s the workload in lam for a fresh PhD just joining? Standard 9-5? Or have to work over time during weekdays and weekends?
Which location?
Fremont, CA. I just updated it.
