I drive a 2014 BMW 428i, bought used, ~45000 miles now, really low for a car with about 10 yr life right? The exterior looks like new with just minimal wear, still shines, I've been doing regular checks and services, changing parts here and there. But the new 4 series man, I put my eyes on them every once in a while, haven't gone for a test drive yet (since I'm not convinced I'll buy one) the looks of it is already astonishing. The big nose and the wide screen, gosh. I'm seeing more and more of them on the streets in my area and boy, do I not get distracted every time. I'm just hesitating. My car still feels fresh and beats the value left in it (about $15000 if traded in). Buying a new car is instant depreciation of your asset. It'll drain a big chunk of my savings. But still, man, my brain is telling me no but my heart isn't. TC: 190K
What is the price of the car youre looking to buy on the lot when its out the door? What are your monthly expenses? Are you buying outright or getting a loan? You are obviously wanting it emotionally, so if thats what youre asking about, just do it. Your TC is about 4x the price of that car. Just do it.
Bro what? The new 4 series is by far the ugliest car BMW has ever made. I really hope this is a troll post
Didn’t you read? He gets distracted every time…. Probably the reason for low tc.
NGL amazon, I really hate how people making 300k say that anyone with less TC have "low" TC. It's by no means low. Touch grass. TC: 115k + paper money
Have you looked at the car market? It still sucks.
At that TC a new Honda accord is out of your reach
why you asking blind, do what makes you happy. YOLO. take it from an old grifter like me
If you ask a car community, they will give you informed opinions If you ask blind, you're probably going to get "Bro TesLa ModEL 3 bro"
IMO, the recent BMWs are way uglier than 2000-2016 models
45k miles? Make the smart financial decision and just keep driving it until it starts having problems.
Why would anyone buy a 428i lol. Better off with a Honda

How’s capitalism going?
With that TC I would not go there. It's a large chunk of your compensation.
Depends on if they have the $ saved already or if theyre doing a loan. Outright would be fine and likely not make a dent. Also depends on what features they want on it. And where they live. And other expenses.
Nah, that's how you end up poor.
