Use python for Microsoft SDE interviews?

Have 1 YOE as an SDE, I usually write application code in Java, but for interviews and practicing Leetcode mostly use python as it gives more time to think about problem than worrying about lot of syntax. I want to interview with MSFT, have never interviewed with Microsoft before, but have heard that usually candidates writing code in C++/C#/Java are preferred. Can someone who interviewed with Microsoft or takes interviews for Microsoft confirm/deny this notion? I understand that some teams might be looking for a very specific skillset and this is justified for that use case, but for a general hiring drives does that happen too? #interviews #microsoft #software #faang
