Advice for juniper
Completed the interview loop for Staff/Snr staff in Contrail division of Juniper in bay area. Recruiter wants to discuss the package expectation Any guidance would be helpfull Yoe -14 Current TC- 125k Moved from India - 1 ish year back LC - ~6 months - 350 Update: Came back - asked my number - i tried quoting 300k, somehow blurted 280 - which they offered. Not sure how/why to go back
My friend joined recently at staff level with TC 340k

Staff full comp at Sunnyvale - North of 200 - 250K+.
TBH - Company is not doing great. If you're looking for salary bump, certainly yes. Contrail team is relatively doing better.
Update :: Came back with pretty disappointing offer ~225k I rejected the offer on phone itself.
Disappointing But you have other offers or anything else in pipeline? What did they say after u rejected?
225 is more in line with reality. You saved yourself a bullet! Company has massive stealth layoffs every quarter and isn't paying out on the promised bonuses and not to mention the cultural toxicity of the place. You'd be lucky if you survived a year.
No clue about juniper per say. But at the very least 300-400.
I am not really sure if juniper pays in these ranges.
