Why Vmware is rejecting my application even if my profile is suitable for the same and matching job description. Do they hire people from specific companies and colleges? Or do they hire with referral only. @Vmware

Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
This is fairly common and you can ask the same question for other companies. What you think you are qualified may be different from what they think, or many other reasons exist. (E.g., they have more attractive candidates, etc) I got rejected by so many companies where their JD exactly matched with what I did, but I didn’t care because I also got a lot of love-calls from others. It’s just market demand and supply.
Yes agree but any idea if they hire only from certain company or colleges etc. I am talking about VMware India.
We should expect all companies care past company or education background. If you have neither, it requires more qualification to prove yourself better than other candidates who has similar fit with better background. However, this is not an absolute yes or no decision. Better education & past company always helps but it is just a selection process of top X candidates to interview out of Y applicants. Look for how many ppl that went not-well-known university work for Google or Vmware, you will always see some portions of them
