VMware Acquisition
Is it a good idea to stay in VMware after it is acquired by Broadcom? What will be the pros and cons both financially and professionally?

You mean if you don’t get laid off? I hear Broadcom pays well - but culture is meh. I have heard others recommend sticking around to see if you get fat severance check before switching jobs. Sounds reasonable, but the trade off could be looking for a job in a tighter market (e.g., less openings and lower comp) in 6 to 12 months.
