VMware SMTS Salary Expectations??
I received call from #VMware for SMTS Automation role in ESX Team for Bangalore location I felt this team will be good as it is core team, irrespective of Broadcom deal. How much base i can expect? Exp : ~9 years Current TC: 55base, 10% annual bonus, retirals 64 lpa total Stocks apprecations 26k usd 4 years How much they can pay on my base?? For SMTS the base goes upto 60 at max.

No one safe can't judge , you can see all big players do layoff..Where we can go and hide..so have to take risk if you don't have options..

OP: Could you please share the VMware offer?
I am working on Automation role. Joined as SMTS two years back. After 2 years, My base pay is still less than your current. So I doubt if they will pay more. But yes there are developers with better pay.
