No hiring for another 6 months atleast
Massive attrition and decline of offer letters in Broadcom is expected. It is not yet known when and how many reqs will be open
I don’t trust when anyone says massive attrition. Job market is not good, already many layoffs happening. Who the hell will be matching current vmware salary with huge broadcom rsu’s. Whatever people say, but Broadcom has the lowest attrition rate. Probably people who didn’t received offer expect such things, which will never happen. And even there is less than 2% people who have declined the BC offer.
Of course. The benefits information isn't accurate. At least I assume so.

Will they continue hiring for those in pipeline?
Im really not sure, cause the whole migration from VMware to Broadcom is happening. Im not sure about the pending interview process. Better try other companies as well instead of waiting for a response from VMware.
