VMware vs Capital One Internship
Deciding between interning at VMware and C1 this summer (junior so last internship). VMware return offer: 38.25/hr 12 weeks Capital one: 50.5/hr 10 weeks +3000 relocation Don’t know if I should prioritize a new experience, or the more concrete return offer with VMware. Capital one would only be guaranteed for McLean VA for new grad, but VMware is Palo Alto or remote. My end goal would be to eventually work with faang/unicorn so which one would help with that as well.
I think technically vmware would potentially be more interesting but c1 does have a great internship program (from what I've seen). I'd you're goal is just to get into FAANG, can't go wrong with c1 + leetcode with the downtime.
C1 has better pay than VMware for new grads as well. You’ll have no problem getting interviews with FB, Google, or Amazon by going to C1

Cap1 internship is a joke. Full time, some parts of the company are also a huge joke. Don’t come here. I’m leaving ASAP. If you take the internship offer, do leetcode and enjoy DC for the summer.
C1 internship you coast super hard, I would take that and just leet code like crazy.
