Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
Cisco announced today that they will not mandate the COVID vaccine for their employees. They then said that vaccines are required for employees to visit any US Cisco site (where masks will also still be mandatory) and they are also required for anyone to visit customers. As a field sales guy, I’m reading this as, “You absolutely aren’t required to get vaccinated unless you want to do your job.” I know, I know, I can always talk to customers remotely—WebEx will never be the same as in person nor will any other video conferencing service. Why did we never have this policy for the common flu that has been killing ppl for ages? Are all the other big tech companies taking the same stance? Anyone know if Salesforce has this same philosophy? I just had a recruiter reach out 😉
Well your job requires meeting customers, it would not reflect well on Cisco if someone got sick from you. I'm sure they'll also be unhappy if you took your customers to a restaurant with lots of sanitation problems.
I don’t see how a company would pin the blame on me or any one person for getting someone else sick especially with such a “contagious and widespread virus.”
Vaccinated people already it more than non-vaccinated?
Then compare it to any other virus/illness/disease with a vaccine available that has taken a significant amount of lives (whatever you determine that number to be)… it still makes no sense that we are now forcing people’s hands with this one.
Smallpox? That was made mandatory back in the 1800s.
Ok, how about polio? MMR? Hep A/B?
lol wtf
Ask the recruiter (re Salesforce)
All businesses, employers, restaurants, clubs, airlines etc want to be good at businesses so will obviously mandate vaccines.
The robot npc? What does that mean? I don't have feelings for Trump or see how he is related? Trump supported the vaccine and is vaccinated which is great! The point is simply that the majority of people prefer to not be around unvaccinated people as they don't want covid so will not work, party, or travel with unvaccinated people and this businesses will all mandate it as we are seeing.
I've never watched CNN. How does an extremely basic understanding of economics mean that I don't have a brain? Please by all means educate me. Why would a business decided to be bad at business and cater to a small minority? Even fox News is pro vaccine now!
I’ll never take this vaccine. 1. Their current statements completely contradict the established science. 2. The vaccines don’t work. Oh, stop, it’s established now. Go take your booster, put on your mask, $+fu. 3. It’s not a pandemic. Pandemics don’t need media campaigns. People would be dying left and right. Everybody would know at least one person who died or was hospitalized. I only know one person who even got it, morbidly obese, and he was fine in a week or two. Turn off the TV and social media and you wouldn’t even know what a Covid is.
Where do you live? I know multiple people who’ve died from covid.
The ventilators killed them. ^
This is actually a good idea from you. They should mandate flu vaccine as well
File under: conservatives accidentally making a good point 😂
Because those suggestions are exactly the same…
When I was in college, they blocked me from registering for class one term because I was out of date on some vaccine. IDK why it's shocking to see that kind of policy being put in place during the pandemic.
Alex? If you’re talking about who I think you’re talking about, you just outed yourself as a fringe lunatic.
Perhaps because these are all logical steps in a global pandemic?
I like your style, bot1beep. Who’s Alex though?
This virus has killed significantly more people than the flu, and left even more with long term health repercussions. Not a reasonable comparison.
Lmao
Do you disagree, Indeed?
