I'm in negotiations for this position and am wondering if this offer is too low. Base: $190,000 Sign On Bonus: $0 Yearly Bonus: 20% Stock: $10,000 YOE: 15+ Location: Home base in WA Travel: 20% Current TC: $210K with Amazon This is what is on the table - will check levels.

So 2 things I will tell you is RSU cant be negotiated. Everyone at Band 6 gets 10k per year. The pay band for your position doesn’t go much higher than 200 (maybe 210max) so even if they went up on pay eventually you would get 0 annual increase until they raise the salaries in that band. Best you can try for is a sign on bonus.

That base is damn solid for a principal...for reference in a distinguished (one lvl up) and I'm at 152k base. Location plays a part for sure but 191k base is great.
