What do you guys think of the Seattle campus? Got an internship offer there. Worried it may not have the "fun vibe" that a CA campus would
Since a “fun vibe” is all that matters in an internship, you should renege 🙃
Seek help, this person never said this is all that matters.
I assume you’re talking about SLU. Great shiny new buildings. Whether you experience a “fun vibe” is more about your team and your own socializing, but there’s plenty to do on campus, and Capitol Hill is right up the street. It’s not a sprawling campus where you get to ride G-bikes between buildings like in Mountain View, but nowhere else is.
They have a hot sauna in the SLU campus, and kayak rentals in the Fremont office. It is going to be fun lol
I’d advise trying to land in the Mountain View area campus for an internship, Seattle will still Be good but it’s worth having that crazy “original” google experience if you can. If you’re just gonna work then go home it won’t matter, but if you’ll stick around and explore then Bay Area is way different
Assuming you mean SLU, I love it here. The only downside is a couple of the buildings are dead, especially on Friday, so not all of the amenities are open. Some have actually never been opened since this campus was completed right before the pandemic.
Honestly the Kirkland campus is a lot nicer, but you can take a GBus between the campuses so it’s not that important.
Horrible. Do not fucking come here. The food sucks ass, city is disgusting and ugly, and the people are weird. Try for SF.
Your level of concern is phenomenal
Haha so true.
