Visa Inc Foster city Sr data scientist salary
I been working for quite some time in the company as Sr Data scientist. Base: 150k bonus: 12-17% (based on performance) RSUs: 15% of base over three years ( based on performance) Tools used: SQL, Hive, Spark, Python, R, Tableau. heavy on analytics and only about 10-30% modelling. How does base pay comparable in other companies for similar roles? #datascience #datascientist #rsu #stock #tc
Your RSUs are 22.5k over three years? So 7k per year?? Am I reading this right??
Yep, sounds about right.
Base is good but TC is low. Base is around the same level for Google and FB L4, which is the equivalent level of Visa Senior DS, but your TC is just standard L3 (new grad level) pay at FANG (because Visa pays too low RSU)
@sayno2covd unfortunately, yeah. Visa pays peanuts. Irrespective of multiple market corrections in peanuts, All surveys at Visa will score low on comp. Guess they can never reach bay area standards.
