Anyone that joined Visa as a director manage to get a signing bonus and RSUs? TC: $260k #finance #interview
I was told that Visa doesn’t provide signing bonuses per se. however, they did make me whole by giving me a cash bonus equal to the annual bonus / vesting RSUs from my prior employer that I would lose out on, and then RSUs equivalent to the RSUs not yet vested that I would forfeit.
What is the base + bonus that was offered OP?
Going through the interview process now, will keep you posted. Range on the position is 155-202 which would only be fine if part of the salary is made up via signing and RSUs covered, at least part.
My recruiter said that the only way to get RSU, Signon bonus, and RSU was to have a competing offer from a public company.and share it with him.
If you show them that you are leaving some RSUs with the current job they will provide the RSUs but dont expect the TC to be blown out of water.. Director in Visa is equivalent to Lead engineer, titles are inflated :)
Yes you can. Having competing offers and current unvested stocks helps get you RSUs. I was easily able to get a sign on bonus.
Do you have people reporting to you? If so, how many?
What was the technical interview like? Were there any coding questions?
If they don't have a signing bonus then there's something wrong with them
