Wtf? I thought it is illegal to ask for comp. Recruiter giving some reason they want to see my unvested stock so they can match? Won't give offer without. Play their game or no?
If you’re in California ask them to give this request to you in written. Once you get that tell them it’s illegal. If they renege, sue.
Yup, that will bode well with your new employer
If they renege and you sue, your new employer will never know. If they don’t renege, you don’t sue and your new employer (visa) wouldn’t care.
Well, if you have a significant amount of invested stock and they are promising to match it, you could show them. Provided they actually match. But its tricky that they have not put an initial offer on the table yet. The whole "show your unvested stock" thing should happen after they have extended an initial offer and gone through one round of negotiations. That way you are able to see if showing your unvested stock will help or hurt your case.
Have you heard of Photoshop?
🤣🤣😜
Don’t forget to sign and date at the bottom.
Just show them what are going to vest next quarter and ask for a bigger bonus unless it's 🥜
Tell them it's confidential and you'll be violating the company's policy by sharing. Could be a test to see if you will do the same with their confidential dress.
They know there’s no policy violated.
Pretty sure everyone signs NDAs and Confidentiality agreements. And those cover trade dress. Which is inclusive of salaries and pay.
What reason did the recruiter give? Are you in a state where it’s illegal to ask?
Chaotic neutral is definitely to screenshot and edit (maybe 3x your current real number, not 10x)
