And instead opted to stay in richmond district? Hotel prices are crazy near union square.

I stayed in Union square in November, and admittedly I knew nothing about the city and its neighborhoods, and the area was not so nice. I swear I saw a human turd on the sidewalk near my hotel. There were a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance, but there are nice restaurants all over sf! I’d avoid that neighborhood next time.
Tenderloin gets my vote, like NYC meatpacking but more raw human shit on the ground with junkies fisting themselves and free needles everywhere.
