Vmware BroadCom Acquisition
How do people feel about BroadCom acquiring Vmware? Broadcom is bringing amazon culture and doing massive layoffs. Have a recruiter call with Vmware but not sure if I want to pursue. #vmware #engineering #broadcom #career

They supposedly ruined the culture of CA Technologies.. now it’s VMWare I guess
The culture of not turning a profit?
Not turning a profit is not culture. Culture is the environment(customs, social behavior, camaraderie) in which the employees work. FWIW, good WLB, no hire-and-fire culture… In India, Oracle(no OCI) and CA Technologies were touted to be having no-brainer WLB before the acquisition.
